    obok I had the same I removed the battery, waited 5 mins and plugged in the charger, came on orange light, plugged in battery was charging laptop worked without power adaptor in, but NO green light on chrger when plugged in but showed charging on screen. Initially green light came on but then changes to orange.

    Im better off buying a new mac air. Score 1. I fixed the MagSafe charger no light no power issue. I cleaned the plug and reset SMC before. Unplug the power adapter from power source.
