I'm surprised this isn't available through Apple Software Update. Also, when I downloaded this update and ran setup. I don't know how to find out whether the drivers on my system were updated or not. If you open your control panel in Windows and go to Programs -- Uninstall a program, you will see the most current applications listed at the top of the list.
More than likely these will be the new drivers that were installed by the BootCamp driver update. Like 1. The file size is misleading.
It says It's the BootCamp Just a waste of time and my bandwidth for double downloading the same shits!! This doesn't support my perfect good MBP. I can't get my Windows 8 Boot Camp partition to run without crashing.

I have resorted to VMware which is not quite the same thing. Once again I am very disappointed with Apple's forced obsolescence policy.

I already have it installed and running fine installed upcate of a previous XP Boot Camp partitionexcept for a problem where the wireless connection is very slow compared to Ethernet or OS X, but I'd rather have the additional features and functionality of the Boot Camp software.
Trying to run the installer provided just gives an error dialog saying my machine isn't supported. If anyone finds a way to force the installer to continue, please post it here. Also note that the old Boot Camp 4 drivers never worked in Win 8 for me.

Adreitz, For am aware of that, however, you should update able to find a DMG inside of the installer using pacifist. You can burn that to a DVD, and it should have the drivers in it. The drivers are somewhere in the installer, they could be inside of a folder, but either way, you should be able to find them, extract them. There are many ways to get them onto your bootcamp partition. My suggestion is to not piece-meal the drivers, but to install ALL 4. If you look in the Device Manager, you should still see some unknown devices. The Beta driver is an interesting choice, but the 4. In any case, good to see it working, and it is better than 3.
