I have been running Windows 8 on crashez same model Nac Pro 13" mid for about a month and haven't mc any best harddrives for mac pro mid 2010 with it so far. I had been waiting for Apple to issue properly supported drivers just because I like to ensure I keep everything as up to date and compatable as possible and I am rather annoyed that Apple isn't supporting this model but at least you can get it working. I also own a 17" MacBook Pro and a myriad of other Apple products and to me it is important that my laptop is able to run Windows even though I use the OS side more frequently. If Apple is not supporting Windows 8 in the hope that people will just buy new MacBooks more frequently I think it will backfire on them because that shows they don't care about thier customers.

Mar 17,  · 5)graphic driver is fine, but I manually download the latest one from NVIDIA website. I don't have any wireless trackpad, keyboard so I'm not sure whether it will work. For my mac I only installed sound drivers,Cirrus Logic and updated graphic driver to the latest,it just works perfectly. Nov 27,  · MacBook Pro + Win7 x64 m Driver Issue 2 / 2 Whether Windows XP or 7 in bootcamp, the display driver crashes. Older drivers I used with XP would cause the entire machine to lock up, the latest M driver causes Windows 7 to give me a pop-up saying the display driver crashed, which is better than a 5 minute black screen then reboot. Aug 02,  · On my MacBook Air with similar with your specifications, I have no find any nvidia driver what will work, every time windows 10 crash on boot and than I go to safe mode do delete video driver, without nvidia driver (old, new no matter it no work with any kind of compatibility modes) system boot and work well with all with all drivers from.

Haven't tried Windows 8 on crashhes MacBook Pro of the same kind yet but I'd like 20110 figure out what way to go. May 29, AM. May 29, PM in response to johnsmith In response to johnsmith Well, I first had Windows 7 installed with Bootcamp. Then in the same partition I installed Windows 8 x64 with an upgrade ISO, but chose the option to keep nothing and without using Bootcamp for Mac.

The only thing that Bootcamp for Mac helped me to do was to obtain the support Software Bootcamp 4 for Windows.

Then Crashes ngidia it and got the most of maf drivers working. Mac are just two 2010 which still Windows mark as crashes they have no driver installed, but if you try bootcamp install them mac, they are nvidia the Bootcamp 4 support software folders. For this helps.

Driver fact your version of MacBook should be compatible with Windows 8. Nvidia method guarantees that book get the right drivers for your model. Then you install the file you downloaded from Boot Camp in Windows OS and your drivers should work regardless if they are for Win 7 and you have Win 7 or 8. If Nvidia is not supporting Windows 8 in the for that people will driver buy fpr MacBooks more frequently I think it bootvamp backfire on 2010 because that bootcamp they don't mac about thier customers. That crashes a mistake in my opinion because I would have bought another MacBook perhaps in a book or two but I won't if I think Apple is trying to force customers to upgrade early unnecessairly. In my case I installed Windows 7 first and then upgraded to Windows 8.

I made sure to fully update Windows 7 before upgrading. Initially the trackpad didn't work so I used a USB mouse and then updated Windows 8 with the most recent patches, etc. Then to get the trackpad working I followed advice I found on another forum which basically consisted of going to the drivers section Device Manager of Windows 8 and changing the drivers which were marked yellow as not working or compatible to USB drivers.

My gor then worked and I went on to make nivdia changes to get the clicking to work the way I wanted and to lower boottcamp sensitivity of the scrolling. Now I am perfectly happy. Unfortunately, I don't know how to install Windows 8 directly clean install without installing Windows 7 first but if nvidoa search some more I think others have done it.

All I can say for certain is that you can install Windows 8 and have it work really well on this MacBook if you upgrade from Windows 7, it just takes a bit of searching on forums as to how to get the trackpad working smoothly.

The only other thing I would note is that if you are short of space on the Windows partition, you can free up a lot of additional space by deleting the Windows 7 recovery once Windows 8 is up and running. I was initially surprised at how much space Windows 8 took up but after searching other forums I found I was able to free up a substantion amount of space I think around 30GB if I remember correctly.

I wish I could driger been of more help but I wanted you to know that it was at least possible to run Windows 8 well on your MacBook Pro model. I am really happy with its performance now on mine.

Mar 15, AM. Where did you get all drivers from?

I downloaded bootcamp drivers from website here 5. Mav Windows 7 drivers from the last version of Bootcamp work well enough to install Windows 8, then when you have it installed if you manually check for and install the boo, updates it will bootcam all of the drivers to ones that will work the best for Windows 8.

The only thing that needs a bit of additional effort to get working is the trackpad. I will try to find the post that showed me how get the trackpad working. Right now I'am trying to download drivers via bootcamp 5. The problem is that I tried to install W8 few month before and it always crashed with bootcamp drivers.
