Can I run Access Runtime or Access Application on Mac?

There is a free demo accews you can try it and see. The disadvantage to Bootcamp is that it would require your mother to reboot into Windows every time she wants to use the Access application and then reboot back into OS X whenever she wanted to use anything else. I think you will need to use a virtual machine.

I am not sure that Rruntime Office is the answer. It does not in fact run MS Access applications or databases. To my understanding, all it allows you to do is to read the tables in an MS Access database.
