There is a OS X native app in the same class called RouteBuddy but the demo is 'crippleware' so one can't really judge its accuracy or usefulness. It costs as much as a Windows license and a PC virtualization app together, so there's not a lot of incentive to go that route unless you wish to keep Windows off your Mac. A good forum along these lines is laptopgpsworld. I may just bag the attempt to get Streets and Trips running on my Mac--and keep the old Windows laptop to run it there instead.
