The site talks to requiring Windows. You could install Windows on your computer using a virtual machine like Fusion or Parallels, or using Boot Camp, then install Project in Windows.

I have the same question John - Project Replied on August 10, Project 97 and as far as I know, there are no plans to release one. However, as Denis noted in his response, you can run Windows applications, including all versions of Project, using an emulator.
