Only birthdays and a shared gmail calendar are showing. There is a warning icon next to the iCloud account that when clicked brings up a dialog box saying Your calendar couldn't be refreshed.

It's been migrated onto successive Macs over the years and still keeps working. Yes I have had trouble with calendar syncing on one of my older iMacs. Canvas Draw came out, so we no longer needed Snow Leopard. I updated to Yosemite and deleted Chronos. Contacts works just fine. Calendar did not.

I upgraded to El Capitan beta and Calendar still does not work. Suickbooks logs in on the iCloud system preference pane, but I get an error qkickbooks Calendar cannot sync with the server. I gave up and installed Chronos but only log in the Chronos calendar component.

I did a fresh installation of El Qukckbooks on a new hard drive in my Mac Pro. Eel great so far. What I did next was to copy the Mail folder quickbioks the Library folder from my account in the Yosemite hard capitab to the new El Capitan hard drive.
No problems there. Took about 5 minutes to do. Then when it was complete, I changed the view to the classic view and had the mailboxes displayed on the left side. Copmatible I notice a big problem, the section called "On My Mac" that had my archived emails is missing. How do I get my missing archives back? Thank you. Since installing El Capitan yesterday, I have been getting numerous invalid certificate errors Can't even load the App Store Just about every connection attempt that uses a secured connection and a Certificate is generating an invalid Certificate error I can manually accept the cert, and the connection goes thru, but something is amiss.
Full disclosure, I did take a peek at an early Beta Beta 3 or 4 and had a similar issue. I just punted after looking at what I needed to This El Capitan install was over the same refresh.

I did this fof forgot to turn off Time Machine. This wrecked havoc! Now Time Machine wants to back up my entire original disk. I turned off wifi and hooked it up to ethernet to make it go faster, but it basically is filling up my Time Capsule.

A MacInTouch reader asked if others were having Calendar syncing problems, particularly with iCloud accounts that were created a long time ago. Apple has been having some server issues that have been causing iCloud Calendar sync problems, particularly with old accounts.
This issue is present whether or not you have moved to El Capitan. Apple does seem to be working on the problem and the Sync problems have become less frequent. Does Quicken for Mac work with El Capitan?
To upgrade or not hinges for me on whether iPhoto will run properly on ElCapitan.

Photos still looks like a downgrade and the alternatives are not equivalent. I would love to hear any experiences with iPhoto. Quicken for Lion seems to work just fine under El Capitan. My doesn't. Emailed OpenDNS.
